On January 15, at Mater Dei Hospital, ANTHONY DARMANIN, aged 79, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church and surrounded by his immediate family.

He leaves to mourn his loss, his loving wife Bertha nee’ Laferla, his son David and his wife Kirsten, his treasured granddaughters Emma and Philippa, his sisters Marina, Cora and her husband Michael Rossi, their children, other relatives and friends.

The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Friday, January 23, at 1.15pm, for St Gregory the Great parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated at 2pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Naxxar Cemetery.

Merciful Lord grant him eternal rest.

The family would like to thank his dedicated carer Gilbert who supported him in recent months.
