On February 17, at Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre, LYDIA SULTANA, of Rabat and residing in Attard, aged 72, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church.

She leaves to mourn her deep loss her husband Prof. Victor Sultana, her daughter Dr Sarah Sultana and her son in-law Johann Baldacchino Romano, her son Kenneth and his partner Anita Virag, her brothers and sisters and their spouses, her in-laws and their spouses, nephews and nieces, as well as other relatives and friends.

The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Tuesday, February 20, at 1.15pm for St Paul’s Basilica, Rabat, where mass præsente cadaverewill be said at 2pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to Puttinu Cares would be greatly appreciated.
